Invisalign

Invisalign® is ideal for patients who are embarrassed or concerned about their appearance while having their teeth straightened. Because the process uses a custom set of clear, removable appliances called aligners no one needs to know that you are straightening your teeth!

Clearly Works

Invisalign® works by placing gentle pressure on the teeth, which over time moves them to the desired position. Every two weeks your orthodontist will provide you with a new set of aligner trays. The aligner trays should be worn all day and night, only being removed to eat and drink and to brush, and floss your teeth.

As each set of aligner trays is replaced, your teeth will move. The gradual change allows your orthodontist to supervise their movement to ensure that the treatment is progressing as planned. You will be required to visit your orthodontist every 6 weeks so that your progress can be checked.

Total Invisalign® treatment usually takes about 9-15 months. During this time, the average person will wear between 18-30 aligners.

Clearly Different

Metal braces can be embarrassing and difficult to wear. They often make eating, brushing, and flossing difficult and tedious. While they’ve come a long way, there’s no avoiding that metal braces can be painful and uncomfortable to wear. And, for many adults and teenagers, a more discreet method of straightening crooked teeth is necessary.

Invisalign® uses advanced 3-D computer graphics technology combined with the 100-year-old science of orthodontics to straighten and align teeth like never before. Invisalign uses a series of transparent, removable, and comfortable aligners that gently move your teeth to the desired position. Because the trays are clear, they are virtually undetectable allowing you to smile more during treatment as well as after! Each aligner is precisely designed and manufactured to fit your mouth at each stage of treatment.

Invisalign® is not for everyone, however. During your consultation, your orthodontist will determine if Invisalign® is right for you. To determine if you might be a candidate for Invisalign® prior to your appointment, click here to take the Invisalign® self-assessment.
